A countdown, not a cut-off. The timer used to count up next to the maximum length, and then recording simply stopped, sometimes mid-sentence. It now turns into a countdown as the limit gets close: amber with 30 seconds left, red with 10. Short recordings look exactly as before.
Recording on a phone. The camera preview now appears before you press record, playback after recording is no longer blank, and the controls no longer show twice. Screen recording is no longer offered on phones, where mobile browsers can't do it.
